NY City Bar Association To Explore Insurance Regulation

Current Issues in Insurance Regulation 2009 has been scheduled by the New York City Bar Association for Friday, April 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the House of the Association on 42 West 44th Street, NYC.

This is the19th annual program on insurance regulation. It will be co-chaired by Roger M. Moak, certified arbitrator, and Francine L. Semaya of Cozen O'Connor and will feature regional and national leaders exploring topical issues of importance to the insurance industry, with opportunities for questions and interaction. In this tumultuous financial environment, the program will include discussions on the various crises facing insurers, their policyholders and regulators, and the impact of swaps and derivatives on the insurance market. As is customary, the program will feature a commissioner-level Regulators' Roundtable addressing key issues facing insurers, regulators and consumers.
