NY, Boston Seminar Examines Delaware Law

Join the Practising Law Institute for a program focusing on the New Developments in Delaware Law and What Business Lawyers Need to Know.

On Thursday, May 6 this seminar will be presented live at PLI's New York Center, 810 Seventh Avenue in New York City and will be simultaneously groupcast to MCLE at 10 Winter Place in Boston.

It will run from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Delaware law plays a critical role in U.S. corporate and securities law, particularly in today's challenging and changing business environment. Attendees will learn about important Delaware corporate law changes over the past year and the practical impact these changes have had on corporate legal practice. Participants will hear from Delaware corporate law experts, Delaware judiciary, and academia, who will examine the latest case law and share insights on issues of concern to the corporate securities legal community.

The speakers include J. Travis Laster, vice chancellor, Delaware Court of Chancery;Joseph S. Allerhand, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP; Ann E. Conaway, professor of law, Widener University School of Law; and keynote speaker Robert Kindler, global head of mergers and acquisitions, vice chairman of Morgan Stanley.
