NY ACCA Schedules Annual Ethics Marathon

The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (NY ACCA) will present its 2007 Annual Meeting and Ethics Marathon on Tuesday, June 19.

The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Pfizer, Inc. Conference Center, 235 East 42nd Street, New York City. Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.

Discussion topics will include employment law issues, ethical issues facing general counsel in a multijurisdictional corporation, lessons learned from Hewlett-Packard, ethical issues in doing business globally, ethical issues in creating a records retention policy, and legal and financial services and banking suitability of the sub-prime market.

The keynote speaker will be C. Lee Peeler, president and CEO of the National Advertising Review Council and former deputy director of the Bureau of Consumer Protection for the Federal Trade Commission.
