Norris McLaughlin To Present Tax Liability Seminar

The firm of Norris McLaughlin & Marcus, P.A. has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Tax Fraud: Protecting Against Criminal Tax Liability in Today's Expanding Criminal Enforcement Environment.

The program will take place on Thursday, October 25 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the Norris McLaughlin offices, 721 Route 202-206, Bridgewater, NJ. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

This seminar, directed at accountants, tax preparers and professionals in the tax field, will explore the practical and legal aspects of protecting against criminal tax liability. The panel of speakers includes representatives from both the government and defense side of tax prosecution.

Speakers will not only focus on the tax fraud issues highly targeted by the government, but also raise areas likely to be of concern in the future. The program will provide a quick, focused education on the critical issues that can protect both the professional and their clients from criminal prosecution.

The guest speaker will be Christopher Kelly, assistant U.S. attorney in the Government Fraud Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office. Others speakers will be John J. Eagan, Farah N. Homsi and Theodore Margolis, all of Norris McLaughlin.
