NJCCA's December CalendarIncludes Variety Of CLE Programs

The New Jersey Corporate Counsel Association (NJCCA) this month is planning a variety of programs on issues of interest to the group's corporate counsel membership.

The NJCCA December schedule includes:

• Wednesday, December 6, The Family Friendly Workplace - What Employees Want and What the Law Requires, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Hotel, Iselin, NJ, with Anne Ciesla Bancroft and Ian Meklinsky, both of Fox Rothschild LLP, as speakers, addressing the everyday questions and scenarios presented by employee family issues including: leaves of absence, including FMLA and NJFLA parental, school, domestic violence and other leaves, PTO policies, flexible schedules, telecommuting, benefits, domestic partners and wage and hour issues;

• Wednesday, December 6, Celebrating the Children - A Women's Networking Committee Event, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Hanover Marriott, Route 10 East, Whippany, NJ, with speakers Sue Montalbano, Juvenile Conference Committee; Margaret Skar, Court Appointed Special Advocate, and Nancy Eberhardt, Pro Bono Partnership;

• Thursday, December 14, Construction Law 101, from 8:30to 11 a.m. at the offices of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, 502 Carnegie Center, Princeton, NJ, with speakers Joseph Aronds, Hartz Mountain Industries; Martin Carrara, Pfizer, Inc., and J.J. Broderick and Frank C. Testa, Morgan Lewis, covering a variety of nuts and bolts issues associated with construction contracts.
