International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP announced today that Nicola Noël will be joining the firm as a partner in its Finance practice in London. Nicola joins from Canadian pension investor, PSP Investments, where she established the European credit legal team. She had previously worked as Executive Director in the Credit Finance Transaction Execution Group at Goldman Sachs.
Nicola brings almost 20 years of credit investments experience from both client side and private practice, and she has extensive capabilities across the capital structure, including private credit, broadly syndicated loan and bond products, junior debt products including Holdco PIK, and preferred capital instruments. She also brings an extensive network of relationships across the leveraged finance market including private credit funds, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, banks and private equity sponsors.
