New Jersey Bar Holds Annual Meeting In Atlantic City

Save the date! On Wednesday, May 19 through Friday, May 21 the NJSBA Annual Meeting and Convention will be held at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The three-day convention will kick off on Wednesday at noon with a welcome wine and cheese reception. The mandatory section meeting is from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. followed by a variety of tracks from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. where practitioners can earn required CLE credits now necessary in New Jersey. Wednesday's tracks include Civil Litigation, Automobile Insurance Update, Divorce and Family Law and Law Office Management.

On Thursday the mandatory section meetings will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will run until 5:30 p.m. (check the schedule for specific section times during the day).Thursday's sessions include Litigating Fraud Cases, Mediation for the Litigator and Building Your Practice with Case Management. At 7:00 p.m. the annual dinner and installation of officers will take place; tickets are required and black tie is preferred.

On Friday, there will be a variety of CLE courses that will begin at 10:00 a.m. The meeting will adjourn at noon and will be followed by various section luncheons, some requiring tickets to attend.

Speakers will include the incoming bar President Richard H. Steen, Law Offices of Richard H. Steen, LLC and Allen A. Etish, Archer & Greiner and past bar president.
