On Thursday, July 16, the New Jersey Law Center is sponsoring a program focused on insurance coverage. It will be located at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 2055 Lincoln Highway in Edison, New Jersey, and it will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m.

The course is designed to provide practitioners with a broad-based introduction to insurance coverage law, with emphasis on the interpretation of insurance contracts, duties and responsibilities of insurance policyholders, and the litigation that flows from this relationship.

After the discussion of the fundamentals of insurance law, the panel of experts will delve into the several different types of insurance policies, including health insurance, property insurance, business interruption insurance, commercial general liability and professional liability insurances. Throughout the program, the panel will address the interplay between insurance coverage and litigation and the many causes of action and issues that arise when handling these cases.
