New Hampshire Bar To Hold Mid-Year Meeting

On Friday, February 12, the New Hampshire Bar Association will hold its Mid-Year meeting. The venue is the Radisson Hotel Center, 700 Elm Street, Manchester, NH.

The full-day meeting begins at 7:30 a.m. and will end at 6:30 p.m.

Join the New Hampshire Bar as they tick off half the year with some interesting, fun and informative sessions. The day will begin with the past president's breakfast and will be followed by a CLE event on professionalism featuring Egil "Bud" Krogh, aformer Nixon attorney involved in the Watergate Scandal and now author of the book Good People, Bad Choices and Life Lessons from the White House: Integrity; Mr. Krogh will describe his experiences and what he has learned from them.

The next item on the agenda is the Honors and Awards Luncheon, with keynote speaker U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter (ret.), who will dedicate awards to the honorees.After lunch, a fun CLE session on ethics will be presented in a game show format and will be emceed by Landya McCafferty, disciplinary counsel for the Attorney Discipline Office and former public defender. Contestants will have to take differing positions on a range of professional conduct scenarios, and the audience participants will jump in and vote on which of the contestants presents the best course of action. Prizes and CLE credit will be awarded.
