Nevada ACCA To Present SeminarOn In-House Counsel Ethics

The Nevada Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America is planning a CLE seminar titled Ethical Duties of In-House Counsel - Issues Arising in Internal Investigations.

The program will take place on Tuesday, August 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, 335 Hughes Center Drive, Las Vegas.

This luncheon session is directed at in-house counsel responsible for conducting internal factual investigations and/or are in the chain of command when potential litigations or regulatory issues arise.

Kelley Evans and Richard Gordon of Snell & Wilmer will offer do's and don'ts of common scenarios, including: employee interviews, upward reporting, investigation coordination, and external reporting. The session will focus on the ethical dilemmas that routinely face in-house counsel in these and other common situations.
