The Northeast Ohio Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America this month is planning a CLE seminar titled The Litigation Arena: Offensive and Defensive Strategies, Tactics and Techniques.
The program will take place on Thursday, April 19 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the offices of McDonald Hopkins LLC, Fifth Third Bank Building, 600 Superior Avenue, Cleveland.
Obtaining good results in civil litigation is often a matter of momentum, much like other contested events. Speakers will discuss offensive and defensive strategies and techniques used to get and keep momentum on your side including: obtaining home court advantage; early attack strategies; going on the offensive with electronic discovery; defending non-traditional witnesses at deposition; conflict resolution through creative negotiation, and ADR and trial considerations in employment cases.
Speakers will be Anthony LaCerva, Anthony Divenere, Dan McKee, William O'Neill, Lynette Papushak, Matthew Rechner and Heather Kern, McDonald Hopkins.
