Morrison & Foerster advises SoftBank Vision Fund 2 in $250 million funding round in Zeta Holdings Pte. Ltd.

Morrison & Foerster advises SoftBank Vision Fund II-2, L.P. (“SoftBank Vision Fund 2”) as lead investor in a $250 million funding round in Zeta Investments Holdings Pte. Ltd. (“Zeta”), a banking tech startup providing modern credit and debit processing, Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL), core banking, and mobile experiences. Zeta has a presence in the U.S., UK/Europe, LatAm, Middle East and Asia.

The transaction is one of the largest single investments in a banking tech startup globally, and will help accelerate Zeta’s growth in the United States and Europe, including scaling its operations, team, and platform to meet the demands of its expanding customer base.

The MoFo team advising SoftBank Vision Fund 2 was led by London and Hong Kong corporate partner Amit Kataria, together with Hong Kong associates Sunandini Das and Ramya Mahidhara, and London associate Patrick Barrett.
