Minnesota State Bar Association Seminar Will Explore Real Property Law

The Minnesota State Bar Association is planning a CLE seminar titled Real Property Law in Minnesota.

The two-day program will take place on Thursday and Friday, January 17 and 18 at the Minnesota CLE Conference Center, Seventh Street and Nicollet Mall, Minneapolis. Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on day one and from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on day two.

Discussion topics will include: Purchasing and Selling Real Property; Contracts for Deed and Cancellations; Professional Responsibility in Real Estate Practice; Land Use Regulation; Avoiding Environmental Liability in Real Estate Transactions; Mortgages and Foreclosures; Mechanics' Liens; Title Examination, and Commercial Landlord/Tenant Law.

Among the speakers are Patrick R. Burns, Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility; Gerald G. Kaluzny, Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, and Richard S. Little, Commercial Partners Title LLC.
