The Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel is planning a CLE seminar titled Benchmarking and Measuring Law Department Performance.
The program will take place on Tuesday, December 11 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Metropolitan, St. Louis Park, MN.
Law departments are expected to monitor and report on the value and contribution of the legal function. However, defining meaningful metrics and tools for measuring and communicating law department performance is challenging. In this session, one of the leading management consultants for law departments over the past twenty years, Jon Bellis of Hildebrandt International, will describe current practices and approaches to defining performance metrics and management in law departments. His presentation will also include a brief summary of the results of the 2007 Hildebrandt Law Department Survey, including compensation data for the Midwest Region.
