MICPEL and the Maryland State Bar Association Section of Real Property, Planning & Zoning this month will launch their five-part Basics of Real Estate Transactions Evening Series.
The programs will take place on Mondays, March 13, 20 and 27 and April 10 and 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. each day at the University of Baltimore School of Law, 500 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore.
The schedule includes: week one, Land Acquisition, Development, Land Use and Zoning; week two, Commercial Leases and Bankruptcy and Creditors' Rights; week three, Real Estate Financing and Affordable Housing Financing Resources; week four, Condominiums, Cooperatives and Homeowners' Associations, and week five, Title Insurance, Real Estate Closings and Attorneys' Opinions.
The program co-chairs are Lila Shapiro and Anne Heesters Schroth, both of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP.
