MICPEL has scheduled a CLE program titled Deposition Practice & Procedure.
The two-day session will take place on Thursday and Friday, December 6 and 7 at the University of Baltimore Business Center, Charles Street and Mount Royal Avenue, Baltimore. Presentations run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on the first day and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the second day.
The program is designed to train attorneys in the skills involved in taking and defending depositions. The intensive two-day course uses team teaching in a workshop format. Faculty will present lectures on how to prepare and depose witnesses, offering their unique insights and practice tips. Participants will then be divided into opposing "teams" using a mock case file and will have the opportunity to prepare a witness for deposition, as well as take or defend a portion of a deposition of a party and expert witness.
