McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC announces the addition of attorney Rebekah Glover to its Energy and Environmental Law Practice Group.
Rebekah has nearly a decade of professional experience working in the utility industry in Ohio. Most recently she worked in private practice, representing major Ohio utility companies, independent retail energy suppliers, trade associations, renewable generating facilities and more, in numerous proceedings before the PUCO. She has participated in rate case proceedings brought by electric, natural gas and water utilities; electric security plans; infrastructure development and other rider applications; grid modernization approvals; and the PUCO’s recent PowerForward initiative, on behalf of stakeholders across the utility industry.
Working at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio as legal aide to Commissioner Asim Haque, Rebekah worked on a broad range of issues, including EPA carbon emissions standards, renewable energy and energy efficiency portfolio standards, and gas/electric coordination concerns.
Lastly, Rebekah is experienced in the non-profit community, working with and representing local arts organizations, community service groups, military support organizations and legal defense foundations. She also volunteers for several charitable and philanthropic groups, both at home and abroad.
Rebekah received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and undergraduate degree from Anderson University.
