McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC announces the addition of Joe Cancilla. Joe will practice in the McNees corporate and tax law and mergers and acquisitions law groups.
Joe regularly advises on corporate governance issues, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financings, commercial transactions, intellectual property strategy and licensing issues, and various public and private company compliance matters for clients in manufacturing, retail, energy and financial services industries.
Having spent a significant portion of his professional career working for multi-national corporations, Joe is uniquely sensitive to providing efficient, practical advice and counseling on a wide array of subjects. This includes providing outside general counsel functions for clients without dedicated in-house attorneys. He formerly served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary to a publicly traded industrial manufacturing company as well as in Senior Counsel positions for several other businesses.
Joe earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.
