McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC announced the launch of its Public Finance & Government Services Practice Group. The group is co-chaired by Donna Kreiser and Adam Santucci.
The new group was formed as a result of the merger of the firm’s Public Finance Practice Group and the Public Sector Practice Group. Donna noted that “there were a number of synergies between the two individual groups and we often collaborated to produce better results for our clients. A merger of the groups made sense for the firm and the clients we serve.”
The McNees Public Finance and Government Services Practice Group consists of lawyers from various practice areas with the depth of experience to provide comprehensive, responsive advice regarding the complex legal issues public entities and elected and appointed officials face. These individuals focus on providing a wide range of specialized legal services to all levels of state and local government.
Donna is on the firm’s Management Committee. Her practice focuses on municipal and project finance law, including economic development, transportation, government, health care and education. She serves as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, trustee’s counsel, bank counsel and borrower’s counsel for state, county, and municipal clients. She also advises economic development authorities and non-profit entities in the implementation and financing of major capital initiatives that benefit public, private and non-profit entities. In addition, she has experience in debt refinancing for public, for-profit and non-profit organizations, as well as general obligation borrowings.
Adam has extensive experience representing government entities with respect to labor and employment matters. He helps government entities develop effective strategies to solve the difficult problems that arise in today’s workplace, including through collective bargaining and grievance and interest arbitration. He also zealously represents employers facing lawsuits or other claims by employees or former employees.
