McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC has elected Adeolu Bakare, Devin Chwastyk and Denise Elliott as new members of the firm.
Adeolu Bakare practices in the McNees energy and environmental group, where he focuses on issues involving electric, natural gas, communication, water and wastewater utility services. Ade represents large industrial and commercial consumers of these services before state and federal administrative agencies. He also counsels several municipalities and municipal authorities on energy, water and wastewater matters.
Devin Chwastyk is chair of the McNees privacy & data security practice group where he advises clients on how to get ahead of data exposure by developing data security policies, privacy disclosures, breach response plans and associated training programs. Devin helps clients remedy and report security breach events. He also practices in the McNees litigation, intellectual property, public sector, education law and insurance law practice groups.
Denise Elliott practices in the McNees labor and employment practice group where she focuses on defending self-insured employers in workers compensation matters and providing representation and counsel to clients in employment discrimination litigation; ADA/FMLA compliance; drug and alcohol issues in the workplace; and health and safety. Denise is a frequent speaker and author on topics related to her practice, including medical marijuana in the workplace. She is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
