McNees Attorney to Speak on Medical Marijuana in the Workplace

McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC attorney Denise Elliott will serve on a panel to discuss the important and very timely topic of Medical Marijuana for Human Resource professionals and business leaders at the AIA Alera Group event on Tuesday, September 10, at the West Shore Country Club in Camp Hill.

Denise will address the current marijuana laws in Pennsylvania, how the laws impact your workplace and company policies, and what are the important HR implications and the risks or liabilities.

Denise practices in the McNees Labor and Employment Practice Group where she focuses on defending self-insured employers in workers compensation matters and providing representation and counsel to clients in employment discrimination litigation; ADA/FMLA compliance; drug and alcohol issues in the workplace; and health and safety. She is certified as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section.
