McNees Wallace & Nurick LLC announces the addition of David Evenhuis, Sarah Hyser-Staub, Jeffrey Esch McCombie and Kenneth R. Stark to the firm’s membership.

David Evenhuis practices in the McNees Real Estate and Public Finance & Government Services Groups. Dave focuses on commercial real estate development, purchases and sales, leasing transactions, and coordinating real estate transfers within corporate mergers and acquisitions. He represents businesses, municipalities, and individual clients throughout commercial transactions, including negotiation, contract drafting, due diligence, and closing. Dave is known for advising clients about realty transfer tax, right-of-way easements, manufactured housing communities, and real estate brokerage law.
Sarah Hyser-Staub practices in the McNees Litigation and White Collar Defense Practice Groups. Sarah litigates white collar crime issues and complex commercial disputes. She defends public and private entities in civil rights cases, represents witnesses before the grand jury, conducts internal investigations, and provides guidance on internal corporate compliance. Sarah also represents public officials before the Pennsylvania State Ethics Commission.
Jeffrey Esch McCombie practices in the McNees Real Estate and Pipeline & Oil/Gas Infrastructure Practice Groups. Esch focuses his practice on land use matters, including obtaining permits and approvals at the municipal, county, and state levels. Using his experience and relationships, he reaches favorable outcomes for clients in matters involving zoning, subdivision, land development, stormwater, noise, and traffic, among others. Esch has assisted commercial, industrial, and residential developers, educational institutions, pipeline and other oil and gas-related companies, telecommunication companies, small businesses, and start-ups.
Kenneth R. Stark practices in the McNees Energy & Environmental Law Practice Group and focuses on representing consumer-oriented interests in state and federal regulatory proceedings; and appellate court proceedings involving electricity, natural gas, and oil pipeline issues. Ken regularly represents and advises clients on various transmission and market issues under the jurisdiction of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He counsels industrial and commercial clients on energy supply arrangements. Ken also represents and advises clients regarding alternative and renewable energy, transportation, and telecommunications issues under the jurisdiction of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.
