MCLE To Present CLE Seminar On Resolving Disputes Online

The Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) is planning a CLE seminar titled Online Dispute Resolution: How It Provides Increased Effectiveness, Efficiency and Quality.

The program will take place on Thursday, October 18 from noon to 2 p.m. at the MBA Conference Center, 20 West Street, Boston.

Panelists will discuss: how Internet technologies are being used to create new ways to mediate disputes; the challenges and new opportunities practitioners face by working through a computer rather than face to face; how the online environment, tailored to specific needs, can give both participants and neutrals new "powers"; the impact that ODR will have on the position of more traditional conflict resolution management systems, and opportunities to form interest groups to continue learning the new technologies.

The program moderator is Robert J. Ambrogi, Law Office of Robert J. Ambrogi.

For details on registration fees, see the Bulletin Board on The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel website at www.metrocorpcounsel.com.
