MCLE To Present Annual Environmental And Land Use Law Conference

MCLE's tenth annual Environmental & Land Use Law Conference will take place on Thursday, January 15 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at MCLE, Milstein Hall in Boston.

The program will be cochaired by Pamela D. Harvey of the Department of Environmental Protection, Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Gregor L. McGregor of McGregor & Associates, PC. Other speakers will include Alicia B. McDevitt, assistant secretary, Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs; Carl F. Dierker, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; Nancy E. Dempze, Hemenway & Barnes LLP; Professor Mark Bobrowsku, New England School of Law; Christopher B. Myhrum, Bulkley, Richardson and Gelinas LLP; and James R. Milkey, Office of the Attorney General, Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

They will cover topics such as new developments at MEPA; attorney general litigation and enforcement; federal regulation update; energy reform legislation; green projects; open space conservation and taxation; environmental permitting litigation; survey of land use and 40B cases; survey of subdivision and zoning cases; survey of DEP and home rule cases; update on 21E and brownfields; Massachusetts Ocean Act; and municipal powers and bylaws.
