MCLE To Focus On Business Crime ProsecutionsUnder Obama

Join the Massachusetts CLE on Monday, October 5, for their timely program titled Business Crime Prosecutions under the Obama Administration: Advising Business Clients on White Collar Crime Issues.

The seminar begins at 3:00 p.m. and adjourns at 6:00 p.m. and will be held at the MCLE Center at 10 Winter Place, Boston.

The new president and attorney general are setting a high priority for federal law enforcement to discourage white collar crime.With a new chair for the SEC, new administration federal law enforcement will focus on such issues as TARP funds and preventing fraud, the Tax Code, Antitrust Laws and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act enforcement. Participants will gain an understanding of how the federal and state governments will be working to attack these and other important challenges facing our country. The seminar will be of particular interest to those who defend companies in connection with federal or state criminal investigations.
