MCLE Seminar Will Explore Real Estate Holding Entities

Massachusetts CLE is planning a CLE seminar titled LLCs, Nominee Trusts & Other Real Estate Holding Entities.

The program will take place on Monday, February 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, 10 Winter Place, Boston.

Participants will learn: the tax and legal issues involved in conducting real estate ventures through nominee trusts, general partnerships, limited partnerships, single member LLCs, corporations, and business trusts; the mechanics of converting an existing real estate entity into an LLC and the legal and tax issues involved; the documentation and supporting materials required from a title standpoint for each kind of entity, and how to avoid practice pitfalls.
