Massachusetts CLE is planning a CLE seminar titled The New Independent Contractor Statute.
The program will take place on Thursday, October 11 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the MCLE Conference Center, Ten Winter Place, Boston.
Attendees can expect to learn: how the new Massachusetts statute differs from its predecessor; how the statute compares to its federal counterpart, and which statute needs to be applied to different issues; the new standard for determining whether someone is an employee or an independent contractor.
