MCLE Focus: Data And Security Breaches

Join Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education for a timely session about how to handle and prevent data and security breaches. The program is scheduled for Thursday, December 10, and will run from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 pm. at MCLE's Millstein Hall, 10 Winter Place in Boston.

The faculty will provide an overview of problems involving massive security breaches of personal information in the age of identity theft. They will discuss the latest of the federal and state legislative and administrative responses now impacting clients and attorneys and will cover the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, the Federal Trade Commission's "Red Flags Rule" and other hot topics relating to data and security breaches.
