Kathryn Caimi, an associate in McGuireWoods’ Complex Commercial Litigation Department in Tysons, will join Bank of America as assistant general counsel and SVP on March 8, 2021. In her new role, she will focus on third-party litigation issues impacting the Global Business and Markets Division, serving mid-to-large corporations and institutional clients.
During her tenure at McGuireWoods, Caimi represented clients in litigation matters, with a focus on disputes related to the Uniform Commercial Code, the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, the Expedited Funds Availability Act, the Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering issues, the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. She also handles pro bono matters, including volunteering at legal clinics and providing legal guidance to members of the local community.
