The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) this month has scheduled its Tenth Anniversary Midwest Region Diversity Dinner and Sixth Annual Midwest CLE Expo.
Both events are scheduled for the Chicago Marriott Downtown, 540 Michigan Avenue, Chicago. The dinner will take place on Wednesday, March 21 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. The Expo will take place on Thursday and Friday, March 22 and 23. Expo sessions are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
At the dinner, the 2007 Employers of Choice will be announced.
Among the speakers participating in the Expo are Thomas F. English, senior vice president and general counsel, New York Life Insurance Company; Horacio Gutierrez, vice president and deputy general counsel for intellectual property, Microsoft Corporation; Cecelia Lofters, senior corporate intellectual property counsel, General Electric Company, and Ramona Romero, corporate counsel and manager of law firm partnering, DuPont Company.
