The Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA) will honor corporate diversity efforts at its 2008 Mid-Atlantic Region Diversity Dinner.
The event will take place on Thursday, June 19 at the J.W. Marriott Hotel, Washington, DC, with a reception starting at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
A highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the 2008 Employers Choice Awards for the Mid-Atlantic Region which honor the success of diversity initiatives in the corporate legal profession. This year's winners are Bank of America Corporation, Timothy J. Mayopoulos, general counsel, and Freddie Mac, Robert E. Bostrom, general counsel.
The dinner will be preceded by a Diversity Dialogue, a panel discussion of diversity best practices featuring several of the evening's honorees. Panelists will offer information on how to build award-winning diversity initiatives. The event is free to all who attend the dinner.
