Mayer Brown represented BWAY Corporation, a part of Mauser Packaging Solutions Group (Mauser), a global supplier of rigid packaging products and services, in an M&A transaction consisting on the full acquisition of Taenza, S.A. de C.V. (Taenza), a manufacturer of tin-steel general line, sanitary, and aerosol cans, and steel pails based in Mexico.
The firm also represented Mauser in the antitrust analysis process of the transaction and the parties throughout the process to obtain the approval of the Federal Antitrust Commission to close the merger.
