Snell & Wilmer is pleased to welcome Marty Walsh to the firm.
“We are delighted to welcome Marty Walsh as the newest partner in our Denver office,” said Barb Dawson, chair of Snell & Wilmer. “His addition strengthens our talented bench of attorneys in Denver and will have a beneficial impact on our clients and community.”
Walsh concentrates his practice on advising a broad range of business clients, helping them secure value in new opportunities while alleviating risk. He has extensive transactional experience representing clients throughout the U.S. and internationally, and takes great pride in obtaining a thorough understanding of each transaction’s underlying business, tax and economic arrangements. Walsh focuses predominantly on advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, technology and emerging companies, and providing corporate counsel to ownership, boards and senior management.
"We're thrilled to welcome Marty to our Denver office. With his extensive experience, he will strengthen our ability to serve clients in Colorado and beyond," said Managing Partner of the Denver office, Jim Kilroy.
Walsh was recognized by Law Week Colorado for Barrister’s Best: People’s choice for Private Equity in 2020.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to join Snell & Wilmer, which is uniquely positioned for sustained performance and growth, particularly in the Western United States,” said Walsh. “Snell & Wilmer is an exceptional firm with a talented team, and I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues to serve current and new clients in the future.”
Prior to joining Snell & Wilmer, Walsh was a partner with Armstrong Teasdale where he was the co-founder of the Technology Transactions Group and the leader of the Technology Industry Group. He received his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, and his B.S. from Saint Louis University.
