Mark Snider Joins Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP as Partner

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, a full-service law firm with offices from coast to coast, is pleased to announce the addition of partner Mark A. Snider to the firm’s Cleveland office.

Snider joins the firm after 20 years at Porter Wright Morris & Arthur LLP. His practice focuses on business and tax related legal matters. He is a member of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions team. As part of his state and local tax practice, Snider has experience trying cases at the Ohio Supreme Court and at a range of levels within the Ohio court system.

Snider has represented clients in federal, state, and international tax matters. He has experience with income, sales and use tax, and property tax issues. He has been the lead attorney on hundreds of affordable housing, historic, and new markets tax credit transactions. Snider is also involved in several community organizations – he is a Board of Trustees member for Heritage Ohio and an executive committee member for the organization as well. He has served in both roles since 2021.

Snider earned his law degree from Washington & Lee University School of Law and earned his bachelors degree from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, just outside of Columbus.
