MA Bar Plans Two SeminarsIn Trial Practice Luncheon Series

The Massachusetts Bar Association (MBA) has scheduled a pair of seminars in its Trial Practice Luncheon Roundtable Series.

On Wednesday, August 15, the MBA will present Trial Issues from noon to 2 p.m. at the Boston University School of Law, 765 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston. Attendees will learn real-life courtroom skills and specific strategies for implementing those skills in their practice. Specific topics will include: opening statements, direct and cross-examination, evidence and objections, and closing arguments.

On Thursday, September 6, the MBA is offering Post-Trial Issues from noon to 2 p.m. at the MBA Conference Center, 20 West Street, Boston. Practitioners will walk away with the skills and strategies necessary to give them the competitive edge in the courtroom. Specific topics will include post-trial motions and appeals.
