Lunchtime Seminar Explains PERM/Labor Certification Basics

On Thursday, March 10, the Bar Association of San Francisco will offer a lunchtime seminar to cover the basics of preparing and filing a Department of Labor PERM Labor Certification, which underlies the most-used category of Permanent Resident or Green Card applications.

The seminar will be held at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street in San Francisco.

Speakers Grace Hoppin, Jackson & Hertogs, and Wendy H. Stewart, Jewell & Associates, PC, will cover the initial strategy, advertising, notice of filing, preparation of filing, and filing mechanics, and they will briefly touch on other issues such as audits. The presentation will be useful to those new to the PERM practice, employers, employment lawyers, and corporate counsel who might coordinate with immigration counsel on this filing.
