EisnerAmper, a leading global business advisory firm, has named Lourenco Miranda as Managing Director of Environmental, Social, Governance (“ESG”) and Sustainability Solutions.
Lourenco has more than 20 years of financial and private equity fund industry experience and has held various leadership positions with multinational financial institutions leading ESG initiatives that include integration, financing and investment, capital management and planning, and risk management. Prior to joining the firm, he was managing director and head of ESG at an international investment bank where he was responsible for identifying, assessing and managing ESG reputational and financial risks for client engagements, projects and products. Lourenco works with clients to assess and execute reporting and disclosure requirements and implement strategies that enable both public and private entities to identify, manage and address risks in the ESG space.

Lourenco holds an MSc in Statistical Physics and a Ph.D. in Statistical Physics & Finance from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). He is a member of the Professional Risk Managers' International Association and the Global Association of Risk Professionals and is a frequent speaker and lecturer at the Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business on various aspects of ESG, including climate change, ESG integration, risk management, stress testing and data science. Lourenco is based at the firm’s New York City headquarters.
