The Los Angeles County Bar Association has planned a Thirty-Hour Basic Mediation Training seminar for Monday June 23, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. with registration at 8:30 a.m.
The session will be held at the Long Beach Police Academy, 7290 Carson Street, Long Beach.
The thirty hours of small group exercises and role-playing is designed for people who want a strong foundation in basic mediation skills and who want to satisfy the classroom requirements of the 1998 California Dispute Resolutions Act. Presenters include Gail Nugent and John Rodriquez of Dispute Resolution Services.
