The Atlantic Legal Foundation and the New York City Bar Association will present a special CLE program on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at the House of the New York City Bar Association, at 42 West 44th Street in Manhattan. The title of the program is "How to Reduce Corporate Litigation Costs and Still Win Your Case."

This full-day program shows in-house and outside counsel for corporations how to reduce litigation costs without sacrificing successful results. The program will provide the practical guidance and strategies needed to succeed in corporate litigation both to experienced attorneys seeking to refine and update their skills as well as to less-experienced attorneys seeking an overview. The program features an outstanding faculty of 12 general counsel of major corporations, 13 leading law firm litigators, and five federal and state judges. During a series of interactive panel discussions, the panelists will respond to questions from the moderator. In particular, they will discuss techniques for advancing a client's interests as well as potential pitfalls or traps for the unwary. Topics covered will range from planning, budgeting and fee arrangements, to electronic discovery and litigation technology, and will include ethics issues in corporate litigation.

The program will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees will receive 7.0 MCLE credits including 1.0 ethics credit. Immediately following the program, there will be a networking cocktail reception for speakers and registrants. The cost to attend is $405 for New York City Bar Association members and $545 for all others. The registration fee includes lunch and the cocktail reception.
