Legal Impact Of The Genetic Revolution

The revolution in genetics, including the decoding of the human genome in 2003 and the 2008 passage of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), is in the process of impacting a wide array of legal practice areas, including health and tort law, criminal law, insurance, discrimination, and privacy law.

To explore this area, the MCLE will sponsor a seminar titled The Legal Implications of the Human Genome Project on Thursday, October 2 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Milstein Hall, Boston.
