LACBA Seminar Will Examine IP Issues In Corporate Transactions

The Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Intellectual Property Issues in Corporate Transactions.

The program will take place on Thursday, May 8 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the LACBA Conference Center, 281 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.

The program will discuss intellectual property issues in corporate transactions, including providing a basic understanding of the different types of intellectual property, exploring the differences between owning and licensing intellectual property, surveying different types of agreements involving intellectual property, and key provision in those agreements, and providing a roadmap for spotting IP issues in corporate transactional due diligence.

Speakers will be Michael K. Lindsey, Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP, and Katherine L. McDaniel, Fulwider Patton LLP.
