LACBA Seminar Focus: Developments In Entertainment/Sports Visas

"Entertainment" Visas - What's Extraordinary and What's Not ... O's, P's, and Other Alternatives for Performing Artists and Athletes is the titled of a CLE seminar planned for this month by the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

The program will take place on Wednesday, March 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Olympic Collection, 11301 Olympic Boulevard, Los Angeles.

Panelists will offer an update on the law and in-depth discussion on how to navigate the pitfalls and increase your likelihood of success. Highlights will include: new athletic legislation; addressing negative 0 and P advisory opinions; when you can submit a prior advisory opinion in lieu of obtaining a new one; who can serve as petitioner; providing an itinerary and types of documentation in support.

Speakers will be Pamela Forster, Valente Law; Humberto R. Gray, APLC, and Cristina Perez, Perez Gonzalez.
