Demystifying Computers: A Not-So-Cryptic Lecture About Computer Hardware and Software for Attorneys is the title of a CLE seminar planned by the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA).
The program will take place on Thursday, January 10 from 6 to 9:45 p.m. at the LACBA Conference Center, 281 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles. Registration begins at 4:45 p.m.
This lecture explains today's modern technology, demystifying the process of purchasing and maintaining modern computer systems and explaining the meaning behind all the statistics, numbers and abbreviations. This course will teach the basics and answer: why do you need to know about computers at all; basic terms such as what are all the parts that make up the computers; why do I need to know about them; what do I do if the computer isn't working, and where can I find out more information myself.
