LA Bar Schedules Employment Law Symposium

The Los Angeles County Bar Association has scheduled the Thirtieth Annual Labor and Employment Law Symposium for Wednesday, March 31, at the Biltmore Hotel, 506 South Grand Ave. in Los Angeles.

Registration and breakfast begin at 7:45, and the program runs from 8:20 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The symposium uses panel discussions to explore cutting-edge labor and employment law issues of critical importance to attorneys, judges, neutrals, government practitioners, in-house counsel, and human resource professionals. Panelists, who are experts in their fields, will share their perspectives and ideas, and their discussions will cover opposing viewpoints and encourage questions and participation from the audience.

Among the highlights are an update on significant developments during the past year, plenary sessions on practical issues, a keynote address by California Supreme Court Justice Hon. Carlos R. Moreno, and breakfast, lunch and a networking cocktail reception hosted by JAMS.
