Kimberly Y. Chainey joins Aptar as EVP General Counsel

Kimberly Y. Chainey has been named to the position of executive vice president, global general counsel with Aptar. Kim will be responsible for our global corporate legal affairs group with team members in each of the major regions. Kim is also a member of Aptar's executive committee.

Kim will provide guidance to our senior management team on company strategies and their implementation. She will also represent Aptar in negotiations of complex corporate transactions and critical commercial agreements as well as with all compliance and corporate governance matters around the world.

Kim brings over 15 years of international and domestic experience working with companies in a variety of industries including: Aviation, Automotive/Transportation, Consumer Products/Retail, Tech/Telecom, Oil/Gas/Real Estate, Manufacturing, Biotech and Travel/Tourism.

Kim has advised c-suite executives of Global 100 and Fortune 500 companies, venture companies, and government entities in achieving their strategic objectives while balancing global risks. She has held progressively senior roles with companies such as The Hershey Company, Avis and most recently with Panasonic Avionics Corporation as their Vice President and General Counsel.

Kim’s breadth of experience as the lead attorney for global mergers and acquisitions, strategy, innovation, intellectual property and compliance will strengthen our leadership team and better position us to achieve our strategic priorities as a company.

Kim holds an A.B in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard University, a Law Degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Her hobbies include cooking, art museums, an emerging interest in golf, and anything involving
