Quinn Emanuel is proud to announce that Kevin J. Arquit has joined the firm as a partner. An eminent member of the antitrust bar and veteran of major law firms and high government positions, Arquit joins Quinn Emanuel from JBS USA, where he served as Chief Legal Officer for the world’s largest meat supplier. In that role, Arquit oversaw all legal, ethics and compliance efforts for the company in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Europe and the UK.
Arquit will be based in Quinn Emanuel’s Washington, D.C. office and Co-Chair the Antitrust & Competition practice group. His impressive career includes roles as general counsel and director of the Bureau of Competition at the FTC, and leadership positions at Kasowitz Benson Torres, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
