Kelley Drye Offering Global Climate Change Seminar

The firm of Kelley Drye & Warren LLP this month will present a CLE seminar titled Global Climate Change: Programs, Policies and Implications.

The program will take place on Tuesday, April 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Kelley Drye offices, 3050 K Street, NW, Washington, DC.

This half-day seminar will feature speakers from Capitol Hill discussing the various climate change-related bills under consideration in the 110th Congress. Attendees will learn about the legislative solutions proposed to date, how the business community is responding to the current climate change debate, and the likely impact of new laws aimed at curbing carbon emissions.

As a preface to the political discussion, legal and scientific experts with Kelley Drye's Environmental Law Practice Group will provide a primer on the basic science behind global climate change.

Speakers will include William M. Guerry and John L. Wittenborn, both Kelley Drye partners; Joseph J. Green and Steven L. Humphreys, both special counsel at Kelley Drye, and other Kelley Drye staffers, William Klinefelter, senior advisor; Ron Sahu, consultant, and Dana S. Wood, government relations specialist.

There is no registration fee for the seminar.
