Kandice K. Hull, chair of McNees Wallace & Nurick’s Litigation Group elected to the Board of Directors of ALFA International

Kandice K. Hull, chair of McNees Wallace & Nurick’s Litigation Group and leader of its Eminent Domain Practice, was elected to the Board of Directors of ALFA International, the premier global legal network of independent law firms that provides clients with high-quality, cost-efficient legal services worldwide.

McNees has been the exclusive member of the ALFA International network in the Central Pennsylvania region for more than 25 years and is proud to be recognized for meeting the organization’s high standards and to have earned the respect of its peers in the legal and business communities.

In this role on the Board of Directors, Hull will work with the other members to make decisions about organization-wide programming, such as those focusing on diversity and future legal leaders; network finances; and ALFA membership. Her term lasts three years.

“I am honored to serve alongside this distinguished group of legal professionals to continue supporting ALFA International’s success,” Hull said. “I look forward to forging a positive difference as well as lasting relationships within this valuable organization.”

Hull’s involvement with ALFA spans more than a decade and since 2019, she has served as the chair of ALFA International’s Business Litigation Practice Group, where her clients benefit from her deep knowledge of business litigation and access to connections wherever they might need the legal assistance around the world.

Hull has in-depth experience in real property litigation and focuses her practice on representing clients who are in business disputes in complex commercial litigation. She handles federal and state claims and represents clients in cases involving breach of contract claims, quiet title actions and land use disputes, among others.

Hull has particular experience in the appellate courts, representing businesses and trade organizations in matters before the Pennsylvania Supreme, Superior and Commonwealth Courts as well as consulting on matters proceeding to appellate litigation.

McNees is the only ALFA International-affiliated law firm in Central Pennsylvania, long recognized as the largest law practice based in the region and one that has a tradition of valued service, understanding of Clients First and leading-edge spirit. As a member of ALFA, the business-to-business firm can draw upon the resources of 150 other firms located throughout the world to better serve its clients.

In addition to Hull, five other attorneys were elected to the board of directors at ALFA International’s annual business meeting in October. They are:

  • Cam Beck of McCandlish Holton PC in Richmond, Va.;
  • Kim Campion of Charles Russell Speechlys in Paris, France;
  • Yvette Davis of Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP in Los Angeles;
  • Ian Frank of Frantz Ward LLP in Cleveland, Ohio; and
  • Carlos Gonzalez of Morgan & Morgan in Panama City, Panama.
