The global law firm Jones Day announced that Marques Hillman Richeson has joined the Firm as a partner in its Business & Tort Litigation Practice. He will be based in Jones Day's Cleveland and Columbus offices.
Mr. Richeson is a results-oriented litigator who advocates efficiently, effectively, and proactively for his clients. He handles significant, high-risk litigation representing clients in federal and state courts throughout the United States, at both the trial and appellate levels.

"As a strong advocate for our clients, his abilities at trial and at the appellate level will bolster our considerable trial strength."
At Jones Day, Mr. Richeson joins a global team of experienced trial lawyers that serves clients in business and government disputes, torts, and civil litigation, from counseling through trial and appeal. He will provide the Firm's clients with litigation counsel related to mass tort and products liability litigation, class actions and multidistrict litigation, and commercial litigation.

Mr. Richeson previously worked as a partner in the Cleveland office of a global law firm where he served on multiple defense trial teams in mass tort cases involving personal injury claims. He was named to Crain's Cleveland Business's "40 under 40" in 2017, and was a 2020 Fellow of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD).

Mr. Richeson clerked for the Honorable Henry Coke Morgan, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He earned his law degree from Harvard Law School, and his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University.
