Jones Day announces that Dean Bachus has joined the Firm's Chicago Office as a partner in its Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Practice.
Mr. Bachus focuses his practice on executive compensation and benefits matters, including tax planning and structuring compensation and benefit arrangements in domestic and international business acquisitions and dispositions. His practice includes advising clients on the tax aspects of executive compensation arrangements; structuring and implementing management equity arrangements, deferred compensation, employment agreements, severance, and other executive programs; and representing executives and management teams in negotiating employment and incentive arrangements.

Mr. Bachus has represented major private equity funds and publicly traded companies in acquisitions and dispositions, the design and maintenance of executive compensation programs, and other ongoing executive compensation issues including leadership changes and those that arise in business restructuring.
